Happy Saturday! I’m finally back with a new post, location, and position! I’m now in central Florida, working at a high school in the Media Center! One of the most surprising and delightful things I’ve discovered about being a Media Specialist is that I’m still an instructor. Media Specialists are teachers too! My pupils are not only the students at my school, but I assist and help the faculty with planning, teaching ideas, and resources. I absolutely love being in the library and encouraging students to read.

Now more than ever, students need to be able to find themselves in books.
